Who We Are |
The American Medical Student Association chapter at Benedictine University is a student-governed professional organization that is driven to represent concerns of physicians-in-training. We are committed to providing our members with the proper knowledge, tools, resources, and valuable instruction to strive for success in the journey toward a career in medicine. We aim to increase awareness of many issues in the healthcare system as well as global health issues. Through these efforts, we have brought relief to many patients who face unfortunate consequences due to the current healthcare system and devastating illnesses. Furthermore, our goal is to continue to strengthen our ties within the community by actively volunteering, interacting with local schools to educate students, and raising funds for invaluable causes. Lastly, BenU AMSA is dedicated to passing on the important message regarding the ethical, moral, and social obligations involved in the career of medicine.
